Communication and De-escalation
"Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply."
"If you just communicate, you can get by. But if you communicate skillfully, you can work miracles." Jim Rohn
"The art of communication is the language of leadership."
Many professionals do their job everyday without ever having received formal communication training. Often, the policies that dictate the standards for communication are not substantial and do not provide a system for universal standards of employee conduct, establishing cooperation, and gaining compliance.
There should be no doubt the public has demanded a change in the way professionals, especially government employees, communicate with those they serve.
"Communication and De-escalation" does all of the above. It is the missing piece to many training programs.
This four hour presentation provides verbal and kinesic tools to safely and effectively establish rapport, communicate, establish cooperation, and gain compliance in nearly any situation, on or off duty.
This presentation will educate attendees on an original, highly effective, universal communication system (The Wolfson Formula) that will help professionals maintain their own behavior in stressful and critical situations, gain compliance from difficult people, and achieve cooperation where they might not have been able to do so otherwise without the training. The "Wolfson Formula" was tested and used effectively for over ten years in many criminal investigations and has been proven very effective.
This presentation will also educate attendees about communication body language (effective posturing to gain and maintain rapport).
"Communication and De-escalation" suits public safety professionals, government employees who contact the public on a regular basis, and private employees as well.
This presentation is also appropriate for
corporate professionals who have a need to gain cooperation and "compliance" with their clients
during high pressure business meetings or negotiations, utilizing the "Wolfson Formula" as a communication system for mission accomplishment, whatever the mission might be.
